Happy Birthday Aria! Thanks for the great party today, Superbaby loves his puppy and already ate his SpongeBob candy hamburger.
Aria’s been jonesing for the Melissa & Doug Puppet Theater ever since Superbaby got it for his birthday. I personalized it using cut paper (mostly by My Mind’s Eye) and good ol’ Modge Podge. Here’s a picture of what it looked like when I bought it and my decoupage in progress…
…and here are some of the end result…

Looking through some old binders today I found these: greek man, roaring lion and a frog with a duck from my preschool days…

…And happy birthday Feff!
I’m truly the luckiest girl in the world today because I have not one but two cute Valentines who brought me roses this morning (Thanks guys, I love you!). Started the day with lots of family and the new Batman comic at the breakfast table, then went paper shopping for a Top Secret birthday present project (did I just let that slip?) that’s in progress tonight…

If you’re a fan of Ellen Datlow fantasy anthologies like me then you’re already familiar with the awesome work of Jeffrey Ford. You can read one of his short stories, The Empire of Ice Cream, by clicking here.
Two cut paper and one watercolor and ink designs from today…
