Hello Kitty as my favorite mythological creature! She’s currently framed in my office next to her sister. She’s all hand cut scrapbook paper with foam board in between her layers to make her 3-D. I bent some of the paper to give it a rounded effect before I glued it together.

This is Reggie the cut paper buffalito…and if you don’t know what that is you must get Buffalito Destiny by my favorite psychologist/author/Klingon expert, Lawrence M. Schoen. My Reggie is hand made from watercolor paper. Lawrence’s Reggie comes from another planet, keeps company with a hypnotist, can eat anything and farts oxygen.

My favorite childhood character now in cut paper! Believe it or not, this is the first cut paper art I’ve made with the intention of keeping just for me. Hello Kitty and her apple is currently framed and keeping me company on the wall of my office. She’s all hand cut scrapbook paper with foam board in between her layers to make her 3-D. I bent some of the paper to give it a rounded effect before I glued it together.

Here’s a maternity photo shoot I worked on with Brittney Williams (I did the styling and she, as always, did the beautiful photography). This first photograph is of the tent I put together for the Mommy and Daddy-to-be under the Pecan trees…

and here is the cut paper doll chain I made of them and their baby girl…

and the clothes line I put together…not even born and this kid already had an amazing wardrobe!

And last is one of Daddy reading my 1977 A Book of Fairy Tales to the baby bump.
