Hello Kitty as my favorite mythological creature! She’s currently framed in my office next to her sister. She’s all hand cut scrapbook paper with foam board in between her layers to make her 3-D. I bent some of the paper to give it a rounded effect before I glued it together.
This is Reggie the cut paper buffalito…and if you don’t know what that is you must get Buffalito Destiny by my favorite psychologist/author/Klingon expert, Lawrence M. Schoen. My Reggie is hand made from watercolor paper. Lawrence’s Reggie comes from another planet, keeps company with a hypnotist, can eat anything and farts oxygen.
My favorite childhood character now in cut paper! Believe it or not, this is the first cut paper art I’ve made with the intention of keeping just for me.
