Here’s a screenshot of my 3D Paper Butterfly Art on my favorite deal site, Brickyard Buffalo, this morning! Limited quantity 50% off for a limited time!

Update 3.7.13: Thanks to those who purchased! DIY directions with free templates now available at http://www.mindileatham.com/diy-crafts-paper-butterfly-punch-art/.

Attempted my first cut paper self portrait and here is the result…

These can be made in any color combination for any room in the house. Here are two made in a gradient including yellows, greens, blues, purples, browns, gray and black:

Here’s a close up of the rainbow one I made that included all the primary and secondary colors:

And here’s one in shades of yellow, orange and pink:

Here’s my 3D, cut paper French poodle made for a little girl who adores puppies and wanted something to match her Paris Toile bedding from www.PotteryBarnKids.com. Her name is Gigi and she is made of scrapbook paper with colored pencil shading to make her fur look as fluffy as cotton candy, watercolor paper and acrylic paint for her facial features. I glued a thin layer of cardboard between pieces to give her a little dimension…
