All of the pieces were hand cut from scrapbook and watercolor paper except for the brown pupils and the white catchlights for which I used hole punches. The end result includes some text and is now on the homepage of MindiLeatham.com…

Here’s my 3D, cut paper French poodle made for a little girl who adores puppies and wanted something to match her Paris Toile bedding from www.PotteryBarnKids.com. Her name is Gigi and she is made of scrapbook paper with colored pencil shading to make her fur look as fluffy as cotton candy, watercolor paper and acrylic paint for her facial features. I glued a thin layer of cardboard between pieces to give her a little dimension…
