Just heard that one of the cute little girls in Superboy’s preschool class told her mom that she’s going to be a princess when she grows up and she needs a prince. She
asked if she could marry Superboy but was worried because she knows he wants to be a superhero when he grows up and not a prince.

My Favorite Boys
Taken just a few months ago when this was Superboy’s new Superman shirt, YoYo was in his red phase (because that’s what color Lightning McQueen is, of course!) and Little N still used a binky. It’s amazing how quickly they change!
Character Sketch
I’ve had such a great time working on my latest cut paper projects for
my sister’s first baby! They’re my biggest yet (poster size!) and
feature this Marie Antoinette inspired character that I also blogged in April and May ’09. I’ll post the finished products here just as soon as I add the last finishing touches.

Cut Paper Halloween Witch and Ghosts
This Etsy-style witch was inspired by all the witches I loved as a kid including Samantha from Bewitched, Wendy from Casper the Friendly Ghost and the Wicked Witch of the West from Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz. I had just a tiny piece of the damask scrapbook paper I used for the ghosts and saved it for the right project for a year! Everything is made from hand cut paper with a bit of ink on the ghosts’ faces and acrylic paint for the ghost dust.
Halloween Photography
Some more photos by my friend Brittney Williams from the Trick-or-Treat shoot I helped coordinate at Heritage Square. The kids looked super cute and had so much fun taking their costumes for a test drive!
